MushroomBazaar earns nothing from any trade, listing or contact, sells no advertising or ranking, and does not favour any supplier, including MushroomWale. It exists so that a two-bag grower and a 50-tonne farm, a village trader and a city kitchen, can find each other on equal terms. Run jointly with the Directorate of Mushroom Research, Solan
MushroomBazaar is run jointly by MushroomWale and ICAR-Directorate of Mushroom Research at Solan, Himachal Pradesh, India's national institute for mushroom research. The Directorate has extended its full support to the initiative and permitted the use of its name, and together we carry research on strains, spawn, composting and post-harvest handling out to growers who have had no access to it. What the partnership is not is a certification: the Directorate approves no listing, price, member or trade on this platform, and no member may claim that their farm or produce is endorsed by it.
From growing capacity to business connections
MushroomWale’s public website presents its work in mushroom infrastructure and farm project services. MushroomBazaar focuses on a separate need: helping members discover supply, express demand and maintain business relationships.
100% free, for everyone
Joining, listing stock, posting a requirement, enquiring and using My Business Book are free. There is no commission, no listing fee and no paid ranking. Small growers, farm workers who have started their own unit, FPOs, traders, retailers and kitchens all use the same tools on the same terms.
Open to the whole community
Growers can join regardless of who built their farms. Small growers, FPOs, traders, retailers and procurement teams use the same discovery tools. No preference is given for purchasing a MushroomWale project. Any MushroomWale promotion must be labelled.
Useful information, honestly presented
We separate current stock from usual capacity and harvest forecasts. Verification labels describe a specific check. We do not guarantee buyers, payments, yields, profits or delivery. Members remain responsible for their trade decisions.
