A little help for your next step.

Find answers to the everyday questions of buying, selling and keeping your network organised.

Can I buy and sell with the same account?

Yes. Choose Buyer & seller in your profile. Your stock and requirements stay separate in your workspace. You can change this preference later.

Why did my stock disappear?

Active discovery excludes expired, paused, sold-out and moderated stock. Open your listings in the workspace to see the status and any moderation reason. Reconfirm only when you have checked actual availability.

Who sees my number and notes?

Phone numbers are hidden by default. You control contact permissions in your profile. Business-book notes and follow-ups belong only to you. An enquiry is visible only to its participants.

How are results sorted?

By default, listings with the most recent confirmation appear first. You can filter by species, form, quantity, timing and location. Quantity sorting compares the numbers shown; select one unit before comparing. Matches use stated quantities, areas and terms, and still need direct confirmation.

Is MushroomBazaar really free?

Yes, for everyone and for good. Joining, listing stock, posting a requirement, enquiring, the daily mandi price board and My Business Book cost nothing. There is no commission on any trade and no paid ranking. MushroomBazaar is an initiative by MushroomWale; any MushroomWale promotion on the site is labelled as such.

How do I list my mushrooms in one minute?

Open Join (or scan the QR poster at a mela or mandi). Fill one screen: your name or farm name, mobile number, email, state and district, the mushroom, quantity and an optional price. We email you a six-digit code; enter it and your listing is live. No password is needed on the spot; the same email carries a link to set one later.

Why do I have to confirm my email?

So that every request a seller or buyer receives comes from a real, reachable person. Until you confirm, your listing is private and you cannot send enquiries. Confirmation takes one code, valid for 30 minutes; you can ask for a new one once a minute. SMS codes are not offered yet, so phone numbers are self-declared.

What happens when I send an enquiry?

The seller or buyer gets an email saying who asked and about which listing, and you get an email receipt. The message itself stays inside the site. Replies appear in your workspace under Enquiries, and each side is emailed at most once per enquiry every 30 minutes. You then agree quantity, price, packing, transport and payment directly with each other.

Where do the mandi prices come from and how fresh are they?

From Agmarknet, the Government of India's market-arrivals system, republished through data.gov.in. Every figure shows the market's own report date and links to the source. The board refreshes itself every day and checks for today's reports every two hours; figures outside ₹10 to ₹1,500 per kg or with inverted ranges are rejected. Prices are wholesale, per quintal, shown per kg. They are reported arrivals, not MushroomBazaar prices.

Who are the buyers in the Known buyers list?

Organisations that publicly buy mushrooms across India: retail chains, processors and exporters, mandis and FPOs, hotels, caterers and institutions, and brands. Each entry links to the public source it was compiled from and shows when it was checked. They are not members and have not been through MushroomBazaar checks; contact them through their own channels and check before you trade. A buyer can claim, correct or remove its entry through the report form.

Which mushrooms can I list?

Button, oyster, king oyster, pink oyster, milky, paddy straw, shiitake, lion's mane, wood ear and enoki, fresh, dried, frozen or processed. Ask for another cultivated species from the publish form and an administrator adds it to the catalogue. Wild-collected, medicinal-extract and prohibited products are not accepted.

What do the verification labels mean?

A label names one specific check that was completed on a specific date: a business document, a farm visit or a phone confirmation, with its scope and validity. No label guarantees product quality, quantity or payment, and placement is never sold. Read the Verification page for what each check covers and what it does not.

How do I trade safely?

Treat a contact as a first step, not a deal. Confirm the person, the business and the batch before paying or dispatching; prefer a small first order; agree packing, transport, delivery date and payment terms in writing inside the enquiry; never pay an advance to an unknown party for a bargain price. Report suspicious behaviour from the listing or profile page and we review it.

How do I correct or delete my data?

Edit your profile, listings and Business Book from the workspace at any time. To delete your account or ask what we hold about you, send a privacy request from Help & reports in the workspace or the Report a concern form; we confirm by email. Contact details are private by default and shown only as you choose.
